Within their narrative, Russia has said "Ukraine is an artificial state", while TV presenters say things like "the Ukrainian identity must be erradicated it". This is a systematic campaign where Russia clearly states their true goals behind the war: genocide and expansion

Things are brutally simple. This is a plan of a total disarmament of Ukraine in exchange of non-existing "security guarantees". It is quite clear that a simple piece of paper with a signature will not change Putin's idea that Ukraine has no right to exist.

Some important points are: reduce the size of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, prohibit Ukraine's accession to NATO, and "security guarantees".

In the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, Russia already committed itself to respect Ukraine's soveregnity, and clearly this didn't happen.
