It's literally what Christians used to be called wayyyy before the church formed. The term was “Christ-like” until followers of Jesus became “Christians”. As the church grew, worshippers of Jesus and God became more and more corrupt in their ways and their teachings. Jesus warned Judas about it.

They're praying to the “god” of this earth. Which Jesus talked about happening within the Church. That the Church would become corrupt and worship a different god from his father. These “Christians” in the government aren't Christians at all. Nor are those who follow the same beliefs.

The term “Christian” comes from the term “Christ-like.” True Christians try their best to live like Christ. They don't do shit like the “Christians” in the US government. It's unfortunate that the term “Christian” has been so corrupted. But Jesus told Judas that this would happen.
