Micro-hydropower (MHP) cooperatives play a crucial role in managing decentralized renewable energy systems in Nepal. However, many still face challenges in governance, financial management, and operational transparency.
As part of our #InnovationLabNepal project, our partner RECOFTC Nepal has successfully installed nearly a dozen retaining and crib walls, along with 35 gabions, to protect the MHP powerhouse from potential landslides and intensified river scouring.
