So it's better to be less broad about the issues regarding AI, especially if it's not easily verifiable information. Some people will do anything to find a flaw in your argument to try and prove themselves right. That's why it's better to provide the most accurate information ANYONE can verify.

There are different people that are okay with using AI for different reasons, but from what I've seen, they just think anyone that complains about it is trying to disrupt the advancement of rising technology. Again, there are other reasons why people excuse themselves for using AI, this is 1 example

When people see that what you said wasn't exactly 100% true from what they just saw (unless they truly care to do deeper research, which is rare), they'll just see you as a liar and a lot of the time will just dismiss anyone else trying to advocate against AI because of that interaction.

Typically people who use AI think "It doesn't directly affect me in a negative way, so why should I care". Telling them it's killing rainforests might work on some people that care about rainforests, but if anyone looks it up on google, they'll see conflicting information. 1/2

I'm not trying to attack you dude, I don't know why you're trying to defend yourself so hard here. There's literally no mention about it destroying rainforests in that article. It affects the environment in a negative way with its carbon emissions, yes, but saying rainforests SPECIFICALLY is odd

I said it's not a good idea to LIE about the reasoning to get a point across. It's actually more harmful to provide misinformation about the topic, even if it's for the right reasons. It can create a misconception about the people that are actually trying to educate people on the topic.

Come on dude, it's not destroying rainforests. It's still not good to use because it consumes a large amount of fresh water, which can have long lasting effects on poorer regions with more limited resources + carbon emissions, but don't just blatantly lie to try to discourage people from using it.
