for a second this seemed like a person having a genuine moment of reflection and my hope meter ticked up a notch ! like oh cool maybe there are more of these coming, even just from relating to this story. then i read the comments and nobody was as excited as i was :(

thanks for another very thorough examination of a ubi pilot. out of curiosity, any chance you have gotten or could get sam altman to echo your assessment ? like, what does he say about his study ? does his perspective align with yours ? did it motivate him to dig deeper or do more on this front ?

i like the recognition / justification that people can exist outside the growth loop / market structures, but what's with this sentence ?: "Universal here does not mean everyone in the society, but it refers to everyone who qualifies for it, irrespective of all other social assistance they receive."

really want you to be a fan of this concept. means testing has flaws; hard to nav the paperwork, doesn't match the rhythms of layoffs, costly to admin, disincentivizes work, degrading. benefits include a juiced economy, less scarcity, truer freedom, more innovation. people will work for > 15k/yr.
