Right up my alley! Suspense, mystery, political intrigue, originality and an engaging storyline. What more could I ask for?! For someone who isn't a big werewolf fan, this book exceeded my expectations and made me want more - no I need more and I'm excited to see what comes next.

This book is a different take on the Werewolves aspect and I liked it! I loved the whole family aspect between Geoff and his "pack". The book has it all from mysterious things happening, frustrating road blocks and the touch of a loving pack that takes care of one another no matter what! The ending was unexpected in the best way although it pulled at the heart strings in the end. The books is perfect for anyone that likes the Werewolves aspect in books. It's a great book and I recommend checking it out and can't wait to check out book 2

Sins of the Forefathers is an intriguing story of a pack of werewolves in their human form migrating to a new home across the country. It is a most interesting story of the trials and tribulations of a werewolf pack trying to live a quiet life away from the bias of their species. When pack leader Geoff Cooper moves his pack to Washington, D.C. to begin a new existence free of the tensions and warring of aggressive surrounding packs, he finds that being the only pack in the nation’s capital will not provide the easy, peaceful existence he envisioned. Little did he realize that he and his pack would become the focus of a shadow government agency intent on forcing them from their new home to prevent stirring up a centuries-old government secret. The plot reads like a spy thriller novel, and the plot moves fast and furious. The characters are likeable and give great insight on the human side of the werewolf culture (if it really did exist). I’m not usually a fan of werewolf stories and I was pleasantly surprised how the story immediately drew me in and kept me captive to the end. It was a great read, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting an entertaining story of intrigue and suspense.

More insight into Geoff's history. You learn more about what's shaped his life, and even see a few hints of him becoming a pack leader one day. Great mix of action, suspence, and drama. Highly recommend!

A great read. A great prequel. Geoff is an interesting character, so it is great to see how he became a werewolf. It also delves into the pack and their roles which is helpful and also builds this author's world. Diana may say his infection story was easy compared to others, but the emotional stress he is going through is still traumatic. From an abusive and controlling home to a controlling pack, that is hell. The story flowed well, kept my interest and I look forward to learning more about Geoff as the series progresses. I would recommend this series for werewolf lovers, and I would happily read more.

Good afternoon Mr Wiselln, I just read Scar: a "Law of Teeth" story. I fell in love with Geoff and his struggles right away. Surviving an abusive home environment myself, I can certainly relate, in part. Yes, it does leave it scars, some that never truly heal. They shape you into who you become, as you do your best to move past the pain, to become the person you wish to be. You've put so much thought into your characters and fleshed them out so wonderfully. I'm already a loyal fan! I am looking forward to all your books and stories in, "The Law of Teeth" universe! I'd like to read them in the correct order, following Geoff as a teen, learning how to adjust to the werewolf rules and life. Which one do I read next, while he is still with the same pack? Followed by his next phase as his character continues to evolve. Thank you for this and your great story telling!

Review: "I absolutely enjoyed reading this book. The author does a phenomenal job building the characters. Geoff Cooper is the main character. In the book, we get to witness his coming of age and dealing with adolescence. We are able to see what it's like for him to experience the transition into a Lycan, the struggles he has, and how he is "trained" to control his urges and shifting. M. D. Wiselln does a fantastic job at bringing this story and world to life. It is a prequel and an absolute must-read!! I will be adding the other books "Sins of the Forefathers" and "Bloody Justice" on the top of my TBR list."

Genre: Wolf Shifter Triggers: Violence, Mild Gore, Mild Spice, Abuse 5/5 Growing up we were always told to not venture into the forest alone. That there were dark and scary things in the forest at night. What if it is the only safe place you know? Is everything that comes through the forest still so scary? Wiselln does a phenomenal job of building character development through this prequel. The main character Geoff Cooper progresses throughout the book and the reader gets to tag along while he learns about adolescent life and his coming of age. This theme continues throughout the entire book and we get to meet the other characters that Wiselln has created. The reader is brought along to witness how one persons life experiences and interactions shape them into the person they will become. Highly recommend this book. Will have to check out the rest of the series as well.
