I doubt this thing can hold up in court. Nintendo has filed copyrights for over 800 game mechanics over the last 40 years, and many of them get shot down because they're too generic and broad. "Summoning creatures" is way too generic and broad.

Among many other things, the "Realism" in graphics actually has become a reason why I mostly avoid AAA games these days (the other is console exclusivity, price, and just no time to play. Marvel Rivals with that comic book style? Peak. The Last of Us? No thank you.

River City Girls. I put it on my Wishlist back in 2019, played the first couple levels at a convention once, and watched it go on 75% off sale many times.... but am I ever going to find the time to play it if I buy it? *looks over at Hi-Fi Rush collecting dust.*
