Tech college student by day, movie theater popcorn addict by night. Artist. Goldnerd. Trekker. Swiftie. Proud liberal. SNL fan. Contemptuous of the DJT Administration. Terrible at guitar, but learning. This is a non-political account.
Dear J.D.: Don't you have a couch to go fuck?

Sincerely yours,
A freedom loving liberal.

Now seated for Dogma: Resurrected! This screening is almost completely sold out, and I am really excited to revisit this famously out-of-print (and very controversial) cult classic with a big crowd.

Now seated for #FriendshipMovie round 2. I will be very disappointed with this (nearly sold out) audience if I'm the only one laughing again.

Now seated for #Sinners. If this movie was shot on film with IMAX cameras, why are they cropping it all the way down to 2.76:1? Weird artistic decision.

25 years ago tonight, I saw Nine Inch Nails live for the first of three times. A Perfect Circle was the opening act. I've kept my ticket stubs and t-shirt all these years. A street evangelist picketing the show informed me that I am going to hell for this. I wish I kept the leaflet she gave me. 🤣

Laundry day tunes. Now spinning The Tubes - "The Completion Backward Principle". #vinyl

Jack Black's performance in "A Minecraft Movie" and on SNL this weekend made me want to rewatch "High Fidelity". "Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?"

Now seated for "A Minecraft Movie". Heard great things so far...

Final tariff-free Canadian album of the evening. "Signals" is easily one of my top 5 Rush albums. Perfection from front to back. All bangers.
April 4, 2025 at 2:29 AM
Second tariff-free spin of the night. Not Celine Dion's biggest seller, but I'm pretty sure this is my favorite of hers.
April 4, 2025 at 1:21 AM
Tonight's first spin. At least Cheeto-face can't charge me a tariff for playing albums by Canadian artists. Playing Sarah McLachlan's "Surfacing" right now. Might throw on some Joni Mitchell or Celine Dion next.

Repost with an image of your favourite James Bond. (Wrong answers only.) #jamesbond

Now seated for "Death Of A Unicorn". Heard mixed things, but I don't always agree with critics anyway.

Watching "Freddy Got Fingered" for the first time in a few years. I was one of the handful of people who went to see this in theaters almost 25 years ago. It's disgusting and bizarre, yes, and yet it somehow makes more sense than the shit going down in Washington DC these days.

Went to a Marcus Theatres retro screening of "The Godfather" yesterday afternoon, but I didn't post about it here. Following with Part II at home tonight.
March 25, 2025 at 12:43 AM
One more spin for tonight, tonight, tonight. Genesis - "Invisible Touch".
March 13, 2025 at 3:39 AM
Tonight's classic album spin. Had to play this one after revisiting "Say Anything" the other night. Peter Gabriel - "So".
March 13, 2025 at 3:07 AM
Tonight's spin. Pink Floyd - "The Wall". 180gm reissue. Too hard to find a really clean OG issue without breaking the bank. My second favorite PF album after DTSOM.
March 12, 2025 at 1:50 AM
Tonight's movie. Revisiting an 80s classic - "Say Anything".
March 10, 2025 at 12:02 AM
Tonight's movie: "Interstellar". Marcus Theaters are bringing it back in April, but I have a conflict. Big screen is up and the Blu-ray opens the mattes up a bunch of times to simulate IMAX.

In space, no one can hear the red screamy face man scream... Now spinning: King Crimson - "In The Court Of The Crimson King".
March 8, 2025 at 7:39 PM
Continuing with tonight's smooth 70s playlist. England Dan & John Ford Coley - Nights Are Forever. My parents played their copy of this album so much when I was growing up that they wore it out. This is not that copy - it's much cleaner and quieter. 😂😂😂😂
March 8, 2025 at 4:06 AM
Now spinning: Gary Wright - "The Dream Weaver".
