Die Begeisterung ist ungebrochen aus dem alleinigen Grund, dass Trump ihnen jemand gegeben hat auf dem sie rumtrampeln können. Egal wie teuer die Eier sind und ob die eigene Existenz vernichtet ist, solange Immigranten schikaniert werden ist alles gut.

Ob’s ne Scheissidee war, hängt stark vom Weltbild ab. Für die Rechte ist Grausamkeit gegen Schwächere kein Kollateralschaden, sondern selbstvalidierender Zweck!
Das sieht man an den 35% Amerikanern, die immer noch hinter Trump stehen, obwohl sie materiell massiv geschädigt wurden.

Ob’s ne Scheissidee war, hängt stark vom Weltbild ab. Für die Rechte ist Grausamkeit gegen Schwächere kein Kollateralschaden, sondern selbstvalidierender Zweck!

So nebenbei bemerkt, ist das auch die wesentliche Erkenntnis wissenschaftlicher Forschung auf dem Gebiet!

So nebenbei bemerkt, ist das auch die wesentliche Erkenntnis wissenschaftlicher Forschung auf dem Gebiet!

Trump is just a symptom, not the source of the problem. From the bootlickers in his cabinet, to the whole spineless GOP, to the sponsoring oligarchs, to the ICE thugs in the streets right down to the MAGA voters they are ALL responsible for the cruelty and stupidity of this government.

True, all these unfavorable qualifications Mr. Rather assigns to Trump are undeniably accurate. However, IMHO the message misses the point completely or even obfuscates it, especiallly since he claimed to have voted for both parties.

I’m not as confident. Europe does not yet suffer from a massive MAGA brainwash cult yet, but we have the very same vulnerabilities. I was hoping the second term of Trump would finally achieve that…and it did not. The far right nationalists are still on the raise. It’s hard and costly to beat stupid.

I just saw the CNN segment where Tom Cotton made that claim. I could not believe my ears and eyes, are those guys even hearing themselves? A survivor is committing an offensive act by taking of his T-Shirt??? WTF has he been smoking?

IMHO ‚murder‘ ist just as bad a a fit as ‚war criminal‘. The latter requires a war, the former is normally used for killing KNOWN people.

I already answered that question and I‘m not repeating myself. What I KNOW is that lacking support for Ukraine emboldened Putin to escalate further.

Leider ist das wahr. Die Wähler hätten es demnach in der Hand aber das Zeitalter der Rationalität scheint vorbei zu sein.
