Do you think it’s a can’t from VG or a case of not adjusting to prem level yet - as well as possibly not being at full flying fitness? Agree though on what I’ve seen in both Liverpool and City games Kai would start and have more influence.

I’m by no means livid with a draw. Think the season will show that that’s a good point. Arteta has transformed the club - brilliantly and for a culture shift swiftly too.

City looked relatively comfortable in their approach too and pep will I suspect had been happy until that moment they pushed up - thankfully for us.

Fair, watching the game it didn’t “feel” like we were laying siege to city and they were last gasping it. We had the ball but looked relatively toothless in execution.

Way too reductive. But so’s the stat on its own. You could lob 100 aimless high balls into the box and watch them all getting comfortably headed away so… context matters

How much of this is poor choice by Arsenal enabling the clearance. Shot creation has not been great this campaign so far - this suggests room for for significant improvement - or this that too reductive?

That’s some cost both financial and time. Fair play.

Quite bleak. We can see a problem, we rely on tiny pockets of individualised solutions which are sometimes pointed to as the obvious solution. Classic conjurers distraction trick to make more money off the back of players and fans.

Until there any change, likelihood low, is there a responsibility on clubs to need to devise mechanisms for player protection? Or does it promote a move to European super league and those clubs ditching other comps?

Agree on the strike, football is tribal so for that to have any traction fans would have to back it wholesale. Are there any examples of where this has worked

There may be no credit though? My running thinking is that the sheer volume of games is damaging welfare, but I don’t know how that can be ameliorated - other than cutting the numbers of games.

I find this narrative fascinating. I don’t know exactly where I sit with it. There’s a clear rise and Arsenal don’t appear to be an outlier, but other teams - Forest/Liverpool appear to have avoided injuries or injuries to significant players. Where does the credit lie?Suspect not the right question

Ahh I’ve caught this now. Reprehensible is the word that springs to mind.

And this isn’t to say that racism isn’t rife because it fucking is. But on this I need pointing to the overwhelming sense you alluded to

I’m not sure I’m buying this. I consume a lot of Arsenal media oftentimes and by happenstance not from places I either agree with or wish to have my clicks. All I’ve seen is how astonishing he’s been. Maybe I’m myopic. He’s a superstar. There’ll always be one prick says not. Forget them.

I think the Jesus signing has to be looked at in terms of his cultural impact too, and how he, seemingly, was a huge positive change agent in the mentality of the players and their approach. For that reason I’d resign him.
