Living the dream.
If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times, there's nowt better on a Saturday afternoon than watching the two worst teams (currently) in the football league, kick a ball around a pitch.
So far, it's devoid of anything whatsoever.

Two points off top of Conference table. .
It's gonna be a toughie.

Nothing football. Just aimless balls down the pitch. No shape, no plan, no nothing. Has to be one of the worst County teams ever, and I've been watching since my dad first took me in 1976.

Didn't surprise me.
The whole ground is rat infested.
I'm talking about Cardiff Shitty's scummy, chavvy tiprat fans, rather than the actual wildlife.
The real rat was quite cute, unlike the fans who are all uglier than the elephant man who has had a 50 year long heroin and meth addiction.

I said exactly the same to my son as we were walking out of the ground.
"We keep losing to average/poor sides, so what the hell does that say about us?"
My son replied "We weren't even even average/poor.today, we were a whole level below those two words".

Post match, managers always talk about positives, despite losing.
I didn't see one positive today, including our managers own performance.
He got the team selection/tactics totally wrong first half, meaning the players had no idea or technical ability to do what was asked of them. We looked lost.

The world may be going to shit but listening to this made me re-realise that even though the planet is full of selfish, self-obsessed gits, the vast majority of people are still inherently good and honest. It made me feel good and optimistic again. Mr. O'brien is a thoroughly decent human being.

Much better than last year.
Resilient.
Battling.
Bit naive.
Scoring & midfield problems still clear to see.
Spellman blew his chance.
Young Utd lad could be a revelation.
Thomas has lost last season's zip.
Why was Hatswell screaming at Bobby in front of the fans? Keep it in changing room.

Great result.
I'm now feeling a lot more optimistic than I was pre season. Hopefully it lasts.
We look solid at the back. We are a few players short of a decent mid table team, possibly more. Manager seems a million times better than Jardim technically both pre game and during matches.

That quote reminds of those paintings worth 10 million quid that are something like a red square on a grey background. Artist says it displays my childhood angst, difficult relationships and my struggles with life. Then others say "Oh I totally see that".
Its just a square FFS.
Utter nonsense. Lol

'Bad performance in training' is the diplomatic football speak for 'Lazy with a bad attitude'. Let's hope he's got that out of his system.

Should draw a good crowd but I fear our 20th century hooligan idiots, now grandads who ain't been near the ground in years, will be dusting off their Stone Island (if it still fits) because in their neanderthal minds, its still the 80s and they have to defend the honour of the Somerton Road End.

Could be one of our better LOW signings but the things players say on signing day does my head in...
Lee Jenkins... "I want to give everything for this club".
I should bloody well hope so Lee. That should be a minimum, not something to aspire to and moronically boast about in a press conference.

Data, data and more data.
Nil or very little mention of flair, teamwork, leadership, individuality, tactics, entertainment, enjoyability or dare I say it...FOOTBALL.
Might as well sign a load of Android Robots.
This wouldn't get me rushing to renew my season ticket. I feel sorry for their fans.

Hopefully, it's Bulgarian for 25/26 promoted goalkeeper. 😊

The fact he's 6ft 5 bodes well given how many goals we conceded last season from corners, and set pieces. Nick was a great shop stopper but catching crosses and dominating the box at corners wasn't his best skill set. A better centre back to complimemt what we already have would complete things.

I'm shocked. Could be a fantastic signing. His CV is way above L2 level. Let's hope there are more to come. I was expecting us to just sign a load of players from Welsh league on peanuts contracts.
This has made an already sunny day, a lot brighter. Happy days.

Football is weird.
If anything else brought us as much pain/misery we'd cut it out of our lives for our own mental wellbeing (jobs, relationships, friends etc). But not only do we keep returning to the pain/misery, we actually keep handing over a fortune to be continually miserable.
AKA Masochism.

My apologies. Your are correct I could have explained my point better. I didn't mean he is an inexperienced coach.
What I meant to say is, another coach who is an inexperienced manager. Just like Jardim.

I think any type of ban is a course for concern. How did the club allow it to happen in the first place? To simply dismiss it and blame FIFA sounds naive, even if it is quickly sorted, and certainly doesn't bode well for the season ahead, on the pitch nor off it. Another shambles.
