As well as the finite-states, I'm also working on giving the AI different animations for their current state, and the different weapons they may be holding. If the AI is using a revolver, one of their hands will raise into a ready position, etc.

Been a while, started a new job so had a lot of training. For the last month or so I've been creating AIs that use a finite-state machine inspired by the likes of Halo and Half Life. The AI can wander idly, guard, and patrol. Next step is to get them in combat.

The new pistol is in the game, to an extent. Was working on it's mechanics when I got distracted by bug fixing, so I'll finish the pistol for the next update on the 13th.

Currently working on a new weapon. My idea is to have a pistol that can be reloaded quickly and easily, with the trade off being that it is slightly weaker and deals less damage against armour. Aiming to get it in engine for the 10th.
