Charging my iPad rn. Used to mess around with procreate on it some years back– it showed the apple symbol!! :O

I've not touched it for literal years so I was nervous it may not charge at all, but it seems to charge at least a bit so fingers crossed I can get it working again!

Just finished more work on my first #furry #OC

This time I worked out the details on the body!

Here are the first two patterns I tried but I wasn't in love with them so I tried again

The first pattern I tried was ok. I experimented with spots after the fact and liked them but wasn't sold on them yet. The second one, I experimented with the overall design on the body and I wasn't too pleased with this one (hence the lack of detail), so I moved on to the next!

Been watching @wafflesdoesart.bsky.social's "Fursuit From Scratch" series recently because I've finally begun researching how to build a #fursuit

I've only recently been interested in suiting and I think it could be fun so I wanna try my hand at building my own!

To prep for an upcoming project I've finally decided to make my first ever #furry #OC

Below are the steps I took while making my (still unnamed) character

Color theory stuff, trying many color combos and narrowing it down to what I like/what works Very first attempt at making rough sketches for some sort of cat (no references). Everyone starts somewhere! The left three sketches were made while looking at references from other furry artists to see how they tackle a general feline form. The right sketches were my personal exploration of rough geometry to get a better understanding of the facial structure. I used photos of snow leopards to better under cat anatomy and did my best to reshape it to fit more humanoid proportions. After understanding the shape, these were my first attempts at drawing the face, each getting progressively better as I refined the form. These were later colored while exploring patterns which will be explored further in the next post!
