Finished Adabana vol 1 last night.
It was really good! Like dang! Every character was compelling. I'm invested in the case itself and have a guess at what happened between Mako and Mizuki.
I'm looking forward to vol 2!

Read The Hitman Stans vol 1. 🙂
It was funnier than I expected!
Reminds me of The Fable, not because both are hitmen (well, former), but the comedy delivery is similar (although I'd say Stans is more slapstick than Fable).

Finished Nue's Exorcist vols 2 & 3.
Other than feeling some of the things are a "seen it before" feel, I think my biggest issue with the series is that Nue progresses the plot in a way where Gakuro (and the side chars) doesn't have autonomy. He just does as he's told

Finished Nue's Exorcist vols 2 & 3.

Finished Nue's Exorcist vol 1.
Put off reading it on the SJ app, so this was my first experience with the title. I think it's decent but I felt like the first chapter pulled things from Bleach and surprisingly, QQ Sweeper (later chapters are more like Bleach and Hitman Reborn).

Finished Wash It All Away vol 4!
Like the author said, we're back to handling stains with style, but there were more discussions on about the previous owners.
My guess is that Kinme either worked for them or is related to them. 🤔

Finished reading The Justice of Kings last night. Think Law & Order in an epic fantasy,
The premise was executed well. If there's anything I thought could be improved upon, it's Helena. I liked her but I felt like she was hurt by the writing.
I'd still recommend the book!

Finished volume 3 of Wash It All Away! The entire volume was focused on Kinme's personal life more than the previous vols.
I think the author was trying something out here and I think they did a solid job at it! Hopefully we get more insight into her backstory soon!

It was primarily a build up volume but I'm glad we got to see Nagisa again (I was wondering how she was doing)! 🙂
