Part time work honestly helps lift the mental burden quite a bit! Especially in more unstable times. The way I figure, once you know how to play by freelance rules, one can always go back after some rest/saving. It's been a relief in my own world to have part time work, hope you find relief too!

Yeah, I hear about that exact scenario so often! It's mind blowing that a lot of people aren't educated yet on etiquette, (or at least thinking about it from the other person's perspective, maybe the dog they're approaching might not be a fan of other dogs).

Right, so true! There are plenty of avenues where their dogs can be off leash safely, seems overly risky and rude to do that in a neighborhood. There are too many ways that can spiral into a bad situation, makes my anxiety spike for sure!

I’m sure their pup is super sweet, but if someone goes out of their way to avoid you, just leave it. I just want the dog I'm walking to enjoy her outside time, not have a puppy shoved up in her face. Alright, rant over, I'm going back to my yard where it's just the dogs & I, thank you! 🐕

We had moved aside to let a younger dog who was darting and pulling to pass. They let him pull towards us and then just… stopped and stared. So awkward. They even commented how their dog was making mine uncomfortable, but did nothing to amend the situation. Lol, maybe take a hint then?

It might still be that we need radiotherapy on top of all of that. Of course picking up your favorite art helps, but also sharing & sending us good mojo helps too (spreading the love costs nothing, but means a lot 💕)- cross your fingers that Shia won’t actually need to be radioactive!

Why radioactive? To catch people up, my cat Shia's blood tests originally showed hyperthyroidism. She got a UTI, and now she’s testing outside of the range. We’re still in limbo regarding her diagnosis & treatment, but we’re burning through savings quickly with blood tests & the UTI treatment.

Right? It's maddening when they use that line, especially when you've already done the research. It really does suck to deal with insurance!
