genuinely, it's a bonkers self-sabotage on the devs' behalf because you have a golden opportunity to help promote your game as people are comparing it to a god-tier critically acclaimed indie game--but you choose to reject it for really petty, queerphobic reasons

all we know about peripetea is how the devs and discord (afaik) were crashing out over the game being compared to signalis, and that the devs *enjoyed* signalis but not the fandom (i.e. coded language of "we hate queer people" on their behalf)
