Really good band - saw them closing Roadburn in 2018, which was similarly challenging crowd-wise, 2330 or so on the last day, but they still put on a great show.
Hopefully they weren't too unhappy about playing the Unicorn, that place was an institution until it closed during/just after Covid.

Metal struggles for respect in critical / academic circles due to a perception it's not "serious." Will admit that you have to dig, but there are counterexamples out there! Bands like Panopticon, Chat Pile, etc exist if you're after metal's vibe and some thoughts on society and class structures.
