Well they’ve made it this far!!! Just pulled the first test out of the plaster mold (cast in latex with a soft foam fill, so they’re super squishy!!!) and while it wasn’t perfect, it’s a good enough proof of concept!! On to painting, coming to @playdeadprops.com soon…….

Little guy I sculpted as an intended product for @playdeadprops.com (based on a sketch the amazing @soapmoss.bsky.social did), but ended up destroying the sculpt in a very messy failed molding process a while back. I always loved him though, so I’m working on trying again. Hoping for better results!

This probably won’t help much because I don’t really have an official “setup” yet either, but I got this shelving unit from Ocean State Job Lot that I’ve been using to organize my art supplies/utilities!! Highly recommend, it’s ridiculously sturdy and I think it was only like $50???
