During Workshop Week 2024, I watched the class 'Islamic Geometry Rosette' by @samira.mian and wanted to give it a try. It was fun and I loved the colours, but something was missing. Now, a year later, I finally finished it and I love how it turned out. 🩵

I used up almost all of my fine liners, so it's time to start practicing with my new fountain pen (Pilot Lightive). My wrist feels much better, so it looks promising. I just need more practice for more confident lines.

I'm working on using up all my fine liners (that's why the background isn't that nice). I managed to finish three of them, but still have four pens to go. Can't wait to move to other pens that seem to be better for my wrist. 😃

Finally finished this small painting. I kept avoiding it because I was so scared of messing it up. It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, but I still love the result. 🩵

To my surprise, mixing colours ended up being fun and my wrist didn't act up, so it's a double win. 😁

I wasn't sure if I'll post this drawing or not, since I don't like it that much. It's all over the place and not well-balanced, but to some extent, it represents my current inner chaos very well. It's a part of my journey and I need to learn to accept and embrace imperfection.

I haven't been drawing for some time so I just had to draw something, anything, to calm myself down and regain some mental energy.
It's a constant battle. I know how much simple doodling helps me, but at the same time I feel guilty for not making any 'real' art.
