I decided to have the commemorative “Sandwich Guy Acquittal” sandwich today. Not knowing the full contents of the original, I guessed that it was Black Forest ham, provolone, yellow mustard, lettuce, tomato, red onion and banana peppers on toasted wheat. It made for a pretty decent sandwich!

One of my favorites is a supermarket roasted chicken. I’ll eat half with whatever fresh veggies are on sale. Then I’ll strip the meat from the rest and use the carcass to make soup with frozen corn, carrots and peas with half a package of egg noodles.

I lived within walking distance of one of the greatest clubs ever built. At the age of 11, I wasn’t quite of the age yet to enjoy it. I did get to see the inside once as it was set up like in this photo when my family went to see a show… and even that was amazing.

Ok this is pretty slick and keeping me entertained while waiting for everyone else to board. The seatback monitors can show a “control tower” view of the airport. It’s fun watching the little plane icons moving around the map

Wow this was a tough update to make while I’m sitting in the airport for my flight back to Houston.
