I would not be who I am today without my years with the Capitol Police, and my time at the Capitol. It was the experience of a lifetime and my honor to serve.

Five years ago, oh how time flies. I loved getting to volunteer at the annual Capitol Police Christmas event where underprivileged DC youth came to the Capitol for toys, time with Santa etc.

Throwback to working protests around the Capitol. Sometimes I arrested protesters where I agreed with their cause. But even if I didn’t, I was always respectful and always professional. I’m proud that as an officer I was fair and kind to people, even when they were disrespectful to me.
