SPEAKING on LBC with Nick Ferrari recently, Reform UK leader Nigel Farage eagerly promoted Tether, a cryptocurrency described as a money-launderer's dream. "Tether is about to be valued as a $500bn company," Farage gushed, adding: "This world is enormous, and I've been urging for years that London should embrace it. We should become a global trading centre for this stuff." What might have prompted Farage - whose party has just begun accepting crypto donations - to take such a keen interest in Tether? By chance, one significant shareholder in Tether is the Thailand-based British tech investor Christopher Harborne, who has been bountiful to Reform and its leader (Eyes 1520, 1531 & 1651). Having previously handed the party a whopping £10m, Harborne has shelled out more than £60,000 to cover the travel and accommodation costs for two trips Farage has made to the US since being elected an MP - one in July 2024 and the other in January 2025. How generous!
