I love Mexico because it's the only place you see images like an airbrushed Goku firing a Kamehameha but it's a bolis (fat ice pop) on the front of a paletero cart. My bad drawing is nowhere near as majestic as the one I saw in the wild.

I'm not at my tablet but just thought I would share a gross oversimplification of how I look at head masses on case anyone is curious. :)

A bit of level up advice and this helped me improve a ton. That is sketching wildly all over the place in the first draft. You want mostly try and focus on the shapes and forms you need. Simplicity is the key to having sketches more readable plus you aren't destroying your wrist in the process.

When Balto came out I was in love with the animation. Unfortunately I couldn't draw quadrupeds to save my life because I rarely drew them and perspective was difficult to understand. Still is. Drew this in 2002 and I remember struggling so much with it. the sketch i did it in my 10 mins.
