The best part was Trump lite (Polievre) losing handily in his own riding. Hopefully he steps down and they replace him with someone who doesn't use fear and culture war b.s. and we can start to have adult conversations again.

Yeah...That sucks. I'm a teacher too, and if it gets bad enough, it will affect our pension fund. When the entire thing can just be intentionally manipulated by those with the power, it makes you just realize the whole ridiculousness of the system. Not that that's news but just another conformation

I'm going to pretend that the fact that I've never put a cent into a stock or mutual fund is an ideological stance (instead of a result of the fact that I've never really been in a position to do so)

I know this is probably not the moment, but it all makes me realize once again how much a factor the actual existence of "the stock market" is in the impending collapse of western civ. The ultra wealthy making money hand and fist off the success and failure of those doing the actual work. Inevitable

I get that some services can be deceptive during the process of cancellation.
