I understand the frustration, but coming from a place with frequent and severe flooding, warnings get ignored… the more you issue the more desensitized people get. The forecast was 3 inches but an outside chance of 5-7 in some places. The river was particularly low at 3 feet.

I’m seeing on my fear of flying message board (really) that immediately if one ATC control area goes off line that adjacent area will immediately take over. But that didn’t happen here?
