This is Teddy (Theodora). She's my only now. I had 3 and lost the other 2 within about 10 months of each other. The same length of time as when I got them (pre-Teddy). She's the size of a 6-month old kitten even though she's about 10.

I think the majority of compassionate people do want those things. I reminded someone about my own challenges getting insurance to approve care/meds. They really had no compassion. "Those people are running a for-profit business". So that model may need to change.

That's actually what someone I'm close to said to me. And they feel the same way about aid to countries like Ukraine.

Some of the smartest people I know (book-wise anyway) voted for him 3 times. For them, it was the fear of socialism and that their taxes would go up to as the country created more of a "welfare state" & "forced political correctness" on them. That's in quotes bcs it's what they actually said to me.

There's just never a bottom with him. Disgusting....despicable...there aren't enough adjectives and adverbs.

I understand. I'm fairly isolated and social media is really a lifeline for me in many ways. I manage to avoid a lot of the toxicity there but haven't deleted my account either. Not sure when I will.

I REALLY liked it. I thought it was a clever idea and had many nods to The Maltese Falcon (which I've seen probably 10 times). The plot was complex. Loved the casting. I had trouble making sense of the time period though since Falcon was filmed in 1944. This was supposed to be in 63 I think.
