Gotta feel sorry for poor Jeremy Clarkson though.

Oh hang on, is that the same Jeremy Clarkson who said he "dreamt of the day when Meghan Markle is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while crowds chant, 'Shame!' and throw lumps of excrement at her"?

Nah, he can GTF

If you bring central London to a halt in order to campaign against catastrophic climate change then you're a "barmy" eco "fanatic" who deserves to be locked up.

If you do the same to hang on to your multimillion pound inheritance tax exemption then you're a brave freedom fighter defying the odds

I’ve decided to leave Scientific American after an exciting 4.5 years as editor in chief. I’m going to take some time to think about what comes next (and go birdwatching), but for now I’d like to share a very small sample of the work I’ve been so proud to support (thread)

Musk now has his hands on US govt

Federal employees are required to disclose their assets to ward off any potential conflicts of interest, and to divest significant holdings relating to their work.

Musk will NOT be a formal federal worker so he won't face those ethical limitations.

Ultimately, Trump was elected president because he was able to capitalize on voter frustration. His unconventional approach to politics has reshaped the American political landscape and left a legacy that is still being debated today.

Trump's presidency has also deepened divisions between the political left and right, as his policies are often polarizing. While some admire his decisiveness, others believe his leadership undermines democratic values.

His use of social media, especially Twitter, has enabled him to communicate directly with the public, bypassing traditional media. This has created a unique political environment as it has stirred both support and opposition.

For example, his stance on climate change and the Paris Agreement sparked debate because he ignored global consensus and supported American sovereignty.
Although Trump has received many criticisms, his presidency has brought significant changes because he is not afraid to challenge norms.

His "America First" slogan reflects his focus on nationalism as he puts American interests first. Trump's trade, immigration and foreign policies have been controversial but welcomed by those who believe he will restore American strength and jobs.

Trump's rise to power was unexpected, as many believed that a businessman without political experience could not lead a country. However, his outsider status attracted voters who were tired of the political establishment. Because of his promise to shake up the status quo,

To keep my brain from exploding today, here are some remarkable new deep-space images from JWST.

First up, a celestial smash-up. JWST's infrared eyes reveal cold dust that forms the "skeleton" of these colliding galaxies, known as IC 2163 and NGC 2207. 🧪
