I’m starting to see why there are so many [stories about] writers who go crazy while writing their book 😳

Drove to a writing retreat through a wild lightning storm and heavy rain. Traffic crawled at 25 mph with hazards on. Then, poof, it cleared! At the hotel, I called the drive "great," forgetting the chaos in the middle.

Life lesson? Storms pass.

Hey #WritingCommunity- When you know something is wrong with your manuscript but you can’t put your finger on the cause, how do you figure it out?

Anyone else here love the stitch you get in your side when you’re about to do something crazy, but you know it is the right crazy and you’ll be happy on the other side of it? Like that feeling you have when your toes curl over the high diving board?

I’ve got that feeling now….

Sometimes I write. Sometimes I say I’m writing but listen to the same song on repeat while staring at strangers at a coffee shop while my brain struggles to process what kind of mischief my characters will get into next.

Thats normal, right?
