Decorative yet functional kitchen utensils are is placed on a sheet of white paper. The cheese slicer is placed diagonally across the page creating a sort of broom for the very roughly sketched, assumed human with flowy garments & wild hair. They appear to be riding the elaborate metallic gold scroll & metallic red background handle. Running parallel to the right side of the page, above the business end of the sliver is a bottle opener with a bead & silver handle. Along the top of the page- passing its edges- is a brass & wood serving spoon (Thailand). Chicken wire & strips of fabric come together creating paths & something inorganic yet organic feeling. There’s off-white creating a wrapped path on a main structure & a creature-also made of chicken wire & fabric strips in greens & red/oranges eating their way through? Small piles of fabrics & garments & strips all in the colors of fire are creating a nest for a black metal lantern type situation.
