I really liked the Ark Angel fight in the Jeuno raid. It was a nice tribute to the original fight in FFXI. (Look up “Divine Might”.)
And by the way, this fight was also a 3-alliance fight in FFXI. The difference being, FFXI’s full parties are only 6 people.

I did the new Jeuno raid. We wiped to the first boss. XD
It feels surreal seeing all the little nods to FFXI player experiences in FFXIV. The AFK bazaar outside Jeuno to avoid the auction house taxes on high cost items for example.
They’re really hitting the nostalgia button hard with this raid.
