Very well said and I'll add that those hateful jibronis will ultimately fail because they are so disingenuous about trans inclusion. You've said this, but Derek Henry or Shaq trucking kids in highschool? Totally fine. Trans backup catcher on the softball team? Apparently the end of civilization.

If they're rich and powerful enough to have their name on some documents, they are rich and powerful enough to either explain what's up or go down with the ship. Regular folks aren't getting caught up in this.

I am still shocked that Peterson's character was killed in that movie. More movies/shows need to be comfortable offing main characters.

I've always thought the strongest YIMBY argument that needs to be leaned into is "it's my property...let me do what I want!" And I don't see a lot of that.

It's frustrating sometimes the direction (or lack of direction) the NYT points its magnifying glass at. When its spirit is moved, it can really bring scrutiny on stuff.
