There are but they are very specific in their demands and i think our climate (and the greenhouse) gets too warm and too cold. I have a couple of species and some Grammatophyllum x Cymbidium crosses that are getting old enough to flower soon

I miss growing cymbidiums; they thrived in my SoCal gardens and they do not like our hot summers here
