We took Rocket on his first road trip, to Savannah, GA. He was generally good, but hyped up by all the new sniffs and activities. He managed the hotel reasonably well, but we need to figure out how to keep him quiet when we are not in the room.

I admire any creature who can sleep like this. It is the deep slumber of a toddler plays hard, sleeps hard.

Two weeks in, a bout with Giardia behind him. He told us his name is “Rocket”, although most the time I call him “Rockhead” (he ignores both). Here’s little Rocket getting refueled on the launchpad!

Long week but a good week. Starting my weekend by opening my first bottle of wine in over a month! Sharing a 10 year old California Cab with my Missus kicks the weekend off right!

In my worldview, a home without a dog is just a house. While I will mourn all the dogs I’ve had who have come before him, this little fellow makes our house a home again. #corgi

When my Missus and I started drinking wine, this was an early favorite for us, Four Graces Pinot Noir. Still keep several bottles in my cellar, as this is “our” wine (although I have no grace, let alone 4… 🤷🏼‍♂️)

OK, I need some help. I was never a Twitter/X user; so I totally don’t get that whole vibe. I was an early adopter of BlueSky because it wasn’t X. I want to help this platform succeed. How do I do that? (Enquiring minds want to know!)

When I’m GMing, I typically drink a lower alcohol white wine; a drunk GM = dead PCs. But maybe that’s just me! 🤷🏼‍♂️😁
