The touchscreen oracle has spoken. Antony Green sees no path for the Coalition.

Trump’s instinct to sympathize with authoritarian regimes over sovereign nations is no accident.
Whether it’s Putin, Kim, or Orbán — he always finds comfort among strongmen, not democrats.
Ukraine doesn’t need ultimatums from Trump. It needs solidarity.

Why do some, even after living under authoritarianism, still support strongmen? Is it ideology, propaganda, or fear? However flawed democracy may be, history shows authoritarianism is far worse. Better to fight to improve the system than let it decay.

History shows how economic inequality and despair often lead to destructive outcomes:
French Revolution: Violent redistribution fuelled by resentment.
Soviet Union: Small landowners targeted.
Modern populism: Leaders promise to punish elites while consolidating power.
Can we learn?

Many soldiers from the Allied nations died or were wounded fighting against the bastard Nazis and the Axis powers. As proof, here’s an example.
