Nothing is more beautiful than a mother's love. Sadly, this is my first Mother's Day without mine, but grateful for many years of her love and kindness, and the beauty she brought to the world. She loved flowers, so celebrating the beauty of Mother Earth today.

I consider it linked. Unfettered capitalism & corporate greed is a huge contributor, but what drives capitalism? Consumption. Pollution & climate change is largely man-made & human influenced. It's going to get worse, not better, w/ increased population. Think what you will, but this is my opinion.
Climate change influences stated by scientists and NOAA. Human Influence: The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and NOAA agree that human activities are the primary cause of the observed warming trend since the mid-20th century. Greenhouse Gases: Human activities significantly increase the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, most notably carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide. Fossil Fuel Burning: Burning fossil fuels for electricity, transportation, and industrial processes releases large amounts of carbon dioxide, contributing significantly to the greenhouse effect. Deforestation: Deforestation reduces the planet's ability to absorb carbon dioxide,further increasing atmospheric concentrations. Natural Factors: While natural factors like volcanic eruptions and changes in solar activity can also influence climate, the current warming trend is far greater than what can be explained by natural causes alone, according to the IPCC.
