I think part of the reason trains are already efficient is they are powered by electricity using diesel generators inside locomotives, apart from pure electric ones using either train track or overhead wires.

I took commuter trains to downtown Chicago from time to time, huge noise and diesel fume from the generators.

No problem! I guess somebody really hate to see electric lines above the train track! Thinking of this, it probably make sense for passenger commuter lines, where trains are shorter than freight, cover shorter distance, and have down time between runs.

Thanks for entertaining my question! A bit interesting to see such thing actually exists and the need for a battery powered locomotive, sure have lots of restrictions on usage. Or it is just a “we can do this so we did it” sort of thing.

I went to the Denver location, really interesting place, but the lighting makes it a bit hard to shoot, plus all the people moving around and looking for my kids… it is an aspiration to see your picture and how you approach in such an unique scene.
