One more negative i forgot to mention.
There are now some nomansland areas inbetween district areas where we can no longer go (without going out of bounds).
Most of them are small, but some are iconic bench/trash/shop/backyard areas that will be missed

They have comitted to the 'each district is its own map, with fast travel inbetween' thing. That will not change. Patho2's open-air town is gone.
However, P3D does improve on P3Qs system (though it does not show it) players can now make custom routes or cancel the current route at will. 1/2
