1. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
All around amazing game and a great RPG, and a beautiful ending to Henry's tale. This is a big improvement over 1 in basically every area and I can't recommend it enough. I'll be doing a replay soonish on Hardcore and I can't wait for that and to see the DLC.

2. Half-Life 2 VR
So I got a Quest 3 earlier this year and this one just blew me away entirely. This year was the first time I played the HL games and they translate perfectly to VR with the mod. I'm apparently pretty lucky too that I have strong "VR legs" due to this game's vehicle sections lol.

It's E33, do I even need to say anything about it? if anything I should probably defend why it's #3 instead of #1 lol. It was hard, believe me.

4. Verho
Inspired by the King's Field series, this game big time scratched that itch for me. I loved it from start to finish. Good combat variety, interesting story and NPCs, and the areas were a blast to explore.

5. Arc Raiders
Just pure online multiplayer fun along with PvE robots from hell that put up their own fight. Every time I go upside I have no idea if I'm about to hold hands with a random Raider as we skip merrily or have a shootout with one instead. Or a mix of both.

As a huge Pillars fan, this was a good entry into the world. The combat was a lot of fun, though not as many build options as 1/2, and I loved getting some post-Deadfire lore and finally seeing the Living Lands. The areas were compact but have so much detail packed in, I loved exploring.

My friends will disown me for this one. But I can't help it... I really liked FFXVI! Its combat was fun, though not my favorite (that's Rebirth) and I really dug the story and the sidequests that fleshed out the world and other people. It's different but gets too much hate imo.

#ToBeHeroX #TBHX That art style and time transition from his meltdown to his episode 1 suicide is immaculate. Tragic. But immaculate. I do hear an X snap there, hopefully the finale next week will reward my copium that Nice is alive somewhere off the grid.

#TBHX #ToBeHeroX Overall a heartbreaking episode (I adored Smile) but goddamn if X doesn't come in with the swaggiest entrance ever. I don't see how Rock thinks he stands a chance at taking X down, especially now that he went and pissed him off.

#ToBeHeroX I was excited all week for this episode and it still exceeded expectations. Entire thing was nonstop "absolute cinema" and Queen even won out over X for my favorite scene.

#AtelierSeries Playing Firis for the first time and finally made it past all the ship stuff. Went back to get my third recommendation letter and despite my in-game weeks of building a cool ship, I'm still told I have to prove I have alchemy skills first. 🤨

Had my eye on The Alters since its announcement and it was more than worth the wait. Great sci-fi narrative about a lone survivor in a planet's space base and how he has to clone himself to survive--his Alters, versions of him that made different choices in life and went down very different paths.

Ooo just left Spring Village and wasn't expecting this, even if I end up not flying around on him a lot it's still cool. Really good impression so far on the new Rune Factory.

Happy and sad to have finished Kingdom Come Deliverance II. I have some minor nitpicks with some of the later game choices, NPC reactions, rain, but overall they're small and I had an insane ton of fun with the game and its story. Especially once the second half kicked off.

Wrapped up The Legend of Nayuta and had a fantastic time with it. Current day Falcom is fine and all but I really miss this era of their game development. Especially for the Ys series.

Finished 1000xResist, it's every bit as amazing as I heard. It's a beautiful story from start to finish and I was invested in Iris' story with her parents and 50 as I was with the sisters in present day. One of those games I'll always find myself thinking about again on occasion recommend.

Was browsing Brandon Sanderson's Light Day Sale not intending to buy anything and of course ended up buying a pair of pajamas on a whim. Of all things lol. I'm looking forward to getting them!
