Oh also Ultimate Xmen but that’s a different thing I feel. This weeks issue was great, though I think I’m having trouble keeping the plot straight month to month. Peach Momokos art continues to be incredible and I can definitely see the story she’s going for, I just think I need a reread.

That said, the new Psylocke book is definitely a great book just not for me. Anything Alyssa Wong writes is generally fire, and the art is in my opinion keeping up.

Week for new #1s I suppose, and I’m really liking the direction Black Lightning by Brandon Thomas and Fico Ossio is seemingly headed. Not too much to say, but I’m a sucker for booos playing into the DCU at large, and I definitely have faith in it after Brandon Thomass outsiders work in Urban Legends

Knowing nothing about GI Joe(much like transformers 14 issues ago), I picked up the new #1 cause my coworker was so I could talk about it with him.
Loved it though, and really hoping it turns into what transformers has.

So I guess yesterday was the day of reading comics…making today the day of talking comics, starting with Lower Decks #1 by @ryannorth.ca and Derek Charm.

Great #1 and everything one would want from a Lower Decks comic, almost pulled right out of the show but you can still see the creators influence

So many options…but gotta be squirrel girl. Feel the desire to reread it like every month

This comic will also always rock for having a Talia issue. I mean obviously it should have a Talia issue, but knowing comics it could so easily have not. Probably my favorite issue of the series, and honestly a great commentary on her treatment both in and out of the pages.

One of my favorite comics pages of this year, tho maybe ever too. Really hits at the core of who Damian is, something I can really say about the whole book.
