i feel like it needs to be said i'm protecting my hair not from the elements or anything i'm protecting it from myself and my incredibly unstable desire to just shave my head cuz im so stressed LOL

trying to find protective hairstyle inspiration on pinterest is so hard now because of all the friggin ai garbage. I keep getting tricked by a cute hairstyle only to zoom in and see there's no realistic way to replicate the braiding/twisting pattern
