I've been lamenting the lack of dual notebooks for years, and my personal requirements for line rule are... stupid small. So. I finally made my own, and I'm thrilled how it turned out! 6

Everyone always asked eventually. “It might surprise you to know I’m adopted,” he said, in the driest deadpan tone he could muster. For one beat, two, she stared at him. Then she burst into laughter.

The silvery moonlight and glow from his ephemeral wings deepened the shadows of his gaunt form, turned the hollow beneath his stark ribs cavernous, made jutting knives of collarbones and hips. There was so little left of him. New and healing wounds riddled his skin, a story of torment written in clotted blood.
