Can’t decide between Gremlins and Die Hard?

Nice! Now we have a name for that style of nightmare where you show up for final exams and realize you didn’t do any work or study all semester. A Glasheen!

We know how this works. He made a deal. No reason to flip now. He’ll wait until his patron tells him it’s time, or just take his grift to lobbying or some other venue. In any case we should treat his as hopelessly compromised and ice him out of polite society.

I’m going to start using this when I refer to my underfunded 401k.

Unfortunately I feel like the inevitable normalist gravity means he could get his poll numbers back up just by chilling for a few months. Not sure even that’s on the table but memories are depressingly short.

I guess it’s no surprise Secretary WhiskeyLeaks didn’t consider this getting out.

We couldn’t even get sriracha for about six months one time, so maybe that’s one legit reason, but now that it’s available again, nah.

I feel like he’s just picturing 5th Ave boarding up for Puerto Rico day parades in the 90s or something, likely because he doesn’t reliably remember anything more recent.

I saw two fathers get out of their cars and start throwing punches in the street last spring.

He’s probably just tired from watching the kids at home alone on date night.

To be fair, they’re both following the same model in some sense: facing off against complete losers.
