The scanner built into the camera apps on iPhone and on Android are both kind of terrible at recognizing the code. Use a 3rd party scanner with decent reviews and it will try to find QR codes much more readily.

Any particular chapter you referenced for this work? The posture reminds me of Hero of Ages in Fadrix, but the architecture looks more like Luthadel to me

This is more like upping the RAM than doing an OS swap.
Currently, it's a very difficult and expensive thing to just add more RAM/court infrastructure.
The better solution is to make the existing process more efficient while we do our best to expand capacity
