there's more varied replies i think every non blank email was the same back in may, only changing the number. i dont think the bespoke 1225 response existed. at the very least "move forward with this answer" wasnt there last time.

because it closed people figured someone must have got it right but no one came forward with a verifiable unique email. there being "another chance" puts into question that someone got it right at all or that there even was a correct answer

and a button. people figured out that inputting your email in the first field if you were signed up to the newsletter would get you a blank email, and if you inputted a number and a unit of time in the second field the email would say "it took her [time]to smile" this was only there for a few days.

it doesnt seem like theres one correct answers some people got a response that said "move forward with this answer" while others got "what are you getting at?" & also if you inputted 1225 you got "When you have a bat, everything looks like a ball"

emails got sent to the people who gave the "how long did it take her to smile" page their email with the text "another chance" linking to the same page & since it was "another chance" people figured no one entered a correct answer to the question the first time except this time we got unique answers

this happened with second wind they made this huge fuss about ditching their corporate overlords but they still brought along their business guy so ultimately their new venture was run exactly the same as their old ones with basically the same problems

agreed. i think the arg stuff is to tide the biggest fans over until the next pieces of actual videogame content release. I think if toby fox had the ability to finish all chapters in the time it took to make the first 2, he wouldn't have released the game episodically at all.
