Thanks! I was tired and didn't explain well. I don't think they won't receive their SS deposit (yet 🙄). They have separate accounts. My dad usually hands cash to mom to make the house payment. Not sure how we'll get his money out of his bank. He had a stroke 20 years ago and doesn't use debit cards.

I think I listened to Beyonce's "Freedom" like at least 3 times a day before the election. Love the song, Beyonce and Kamala! Now when it comes up on my playlist, it makes me sad for what we could have had. I still listen to it, cause it's a great song and also makes me optimistic at times.

Me too, friend. It makes me sick that we couldn't get our shit together and elect her. She was so damn qualified! I've supported her since 2019. I really hope we can get her into the oval office next election (if we have one), but I'm not too optimistic given all the idiots in this country.

I very much prefer to vote by mail since I have a bit of social anxiety. I would go to the most crowded place imaginable to vote against him (but mostly for the Dem nominee, I've always voted Dem). However, this is absolutely voter suppression, and we should all fight against it!

That seriously made me want to puke. I'd be boycotting, but my mom lives with me and wanted to watch it. I at least made sure to set it up so we're picking up a local over-the-air channel. Hopefully, that means our house won't be counted in overall viewership numbers!
