One suggestion from people I asked was that Nonno was a pet name, and the symbols mean “change equals rest”. But I dunno.

Often, the arranging committee will honor a request to lead in a particular session if it’s a serious barrier to you. It makes their job a little harder, to be fair, and I personally found that eventually I didn’t feel so anxious about being ready enough.

I don’t think I ever had them in a box like this, but this is the edition I first read and loved. I read them first around 1974, maybe earlier. Thanks for posting these pictures!
