2025 has been the year of “oh man I wish I saw that again in theaters” cinema. So many movies made uniquely for the big screen. 28 Years, The Final Reckoning, Life of Chuck— So many movies that hit so hard on the big screen that I just don’t think will work as well at home. This is a good thing btw.

Review: Why The World Needs a "Superman"
James Gunn's "Superman" is an ode to kindness that doesn't quite soar, but more than flies.

Shout out to the guy who queued “All By Myself” in Union Station, who I can only imagine is having a really bad day and wanted everyone else to feel down about it, too. Cause it worked.

"28 Years Later" has a scene that made me burst into tears with an intensity and randomness I haven't felt in a long time. Garland and Boyle tapped into such a beautiful moment of grief and acceptance that captured a feeling I've never put into words, but was perfectly captured in images. A banger.

Finally watching 28 Weeks Later. Weird that Jeremy Renner is in this one. Only if there was an app where I could talk about this.

There was a “28 Years Later” clip attached to my screening of “28 Days Later” and I need everyone to know that Boyle is back on his bullshit. He’s straight up doing this camera move from “House of the Dead” in it. I’m beyond excited. Weird ass stylistic choices in blockbusters are back!!!

My goal in life is to be more like Mel from The Pitt. Nothing else. I must reach peak performance autism.

Seeing people say "Sinners" is not a horror movie and personally I want to beat those people up

I can’t be the only one that thinks Fantastic Four: First Steps looks like the same old MCU formula with a retro coat of paint, right? Like it’s really just not working for me outside of the production and costume design.

Watched an episode of The Pitt, then The Studio, then a short film on The Criterion Channel… my brain is simply bigger than yours, now.

The urge to be over-ambitious and potentially burn myself out is striking again.... but like what if i write two shorts films in one night. like rn. at 12am. whos gonna stop me.

Flutes are the best thing to happen to music. See "Rock the House" by The Gorillaz and most of The Go! Team's discography.

Seth Rogan in the first episode of “The Studio” looks like Velma from Scooby Doo if she was a middle aged real man who smokes a lot of weed. So yeah he looks like Seth Rogan.

I recently watched Coppola’s “B’Twixt Now and Sunrise,” an intentionally lifeless movie that Kilmer brings so much life to. It doesn’t work without his shameless and sincere performance that breaks the emotional coolness of the film as Kilmer himself breaks down emotionally. A huge loss.

It’s actually crazy how good of a premiere Daredevil had. Every other shot is kind of a banger, Charlie Cox is an electric performer, and the “aura” is off the charts. Great shit.

Doing “research” for my next short film (rewatching the “Temple of Doom” opening over and over again and asking how Spielberg did that until I can do that).

Daredevil Born Again is pretty good but the best part is that Matt Murdock listens to Alvvays hell yeah that’s my GUY

I try not to be a judgmental person but nothing will make me hate a stranger more than asking for chicken “nuggies/tendies” at my job. You are 30, please just say the normal thing.

Saw Daisies in theaters and I want what they have tbh (the existential horrors of war haunting every decision I do or don’t make)

Have retreated back to millennial white people music. Sometimes two ppl yelling about love being the friends you made along the way is what you need idk
