I didn't realize the direct line between the CIMM recommendations and the establishment of the employee Ombuds, but always good to revisit things a few years later!

I have had several study permit extension refusal inquiries come in over the last few days...... I think I see where this is going.

Remember how for years I've been concerned about the 'actively pursuing studies' requirement, and the lack of referral to Immigration Division.
