...not sure what to say about this one tbh. Kinda feel like adding the "critique" on top makes it feel like it has more meaning somehow, but also kinda comes across as whining about being bad at art. Idk. Felt good making it at least.

An emotional, sketchy drawing of a hand reaching towards the viewer and lifeless eyes glaring at them from the dark. The whole peice is made in dark red and black with only a slight bit of orange for highlights. The same piece, now scribbled over with white text critiquing the art, commenting on errors in perspective, sizing,lighting, lineart etc. It comments that the eyes are supposed to be lifeless, but instead they blend into the splotchy background. One finger is too fat, while another is too skinny. One finger has an odd perspective, while the angle between the hand and arm makes it appear disconnected. Additionally some of the background lines are heading in the wrong direction compared to the others. It also mentions how some of the shadows on the hand should be darker or take a different shape. The critiques effectively "ruin" the original artwork by trying to take a traditional approach to a purely emotional piece of vent art.

Not sure whether to call this poetry or a short story... it doesn't feel like quite like a poem to me, especially when compared to other poets... thoughts?

Stretching on for miles and miles It's wider than any one man could cross In such a way that a brain cannot think itself into better-ness. It’s a gap I cannot hope to cross For I know not if I would still be me Should I make it to the other side. I see a city, Across the gap. Shining on the horizon, like dancing at the edge of the stars It's so sparkly, A city of gold and diamonds." Page 2 of a poem/short story called "the Leapers" "Envious am I of the leapers. Those that run and jump without bounds. Clearing the chasm as though it were another day. As I wallow in my patch of dirt. Digging at the floor for bones. To think it possible, It would drive me mad. That leapers and mine are the same species. That despite it all, they do not wallow. Dancing with the sparkling city. How do they jump with such ease?" Page 3 of a poem/short story called "the Leapers" "Do their legs not hurt? Are they lacking in pain? Can they not feel the sickly gravity, That buries us normies under clouds of filth and sorrow? To think it possible would drive me mad. And yet, logically, I know. Should I ever cross the gap. I'll look back at my dirt, And wish I knew the bones better. For the city is naught but zirconium and fools."

Pinhole cameras are fun.
