Come on man, lmao

Is it, though

Also, presumably, this will not be stuck at 360p at some point. Who knows, though!

Really, really excited for what this is going to grow into, and I think this is a very fun episode to kick everything off with. MBG 2025 isn't quite required viewing to listen, but it's definitely better with context!

You can also check out the audio embed here. RSS feeds and integration with podcatcher apps coming asap; most of those services require a published episode before you can get the ball rolling

I'll be sitting down with a rotating panel of guests every week for a low-key discussion on whatever's caught my eye in the world of Android and consumer tech. This week, @nexusben.com and I break down the good, bad, and everything in between that was Made By Google 2025

Trust when I say I'll be back in front of a microphone ranting about (insert tech news) in some form

Thanks Dom!

Thanks Hadlee! Hopefully I'll see you at another event down the road!

For now, you can follow me on whatever social platform you're reading this on. I've been trying to spend more time offline in order to properly disconnect, but whatever's next for me, I'll make sure to announce it here and wherever I can find a proper microphone.

But times change, and I feel like I'm ready for a new chapter and a new challenge. I can't quite say where I'm ending up yet, but trust that I'm not quite ready to leave tech behind. I've loved this stuff too much for too long to fully say goodbye.

Over the last 3 years, I got to go to CES, MWC, and countless phone launches, and I met some of my very best friends along the way. Daniel and I rebooted the AP podcast alongside Jules and Ara, which felt like a special slice of tech podcast weirdness for an audience just like me.
May 19, 2025 at 4:07 PM
AP was quite literally a dream job of mine. I first joined the site over four years ago as a news writer, back in the David Ruddock days. 7 months later, I was a full-time news editor, and less than a year after that, Daniel Bader and James Peckham promoted me to Phones Editor.

Somehow I haven't even ran into that one! This is all like, core iOS shit, some of it is generations old and it's just compounding. There's a BAD autocorrect bug I've been complaining about with other reviews for literal YEARS now
March 14, 2025 at 12:29 AM
I have an entire rant tee'd up in the 16e review I'm finishing tomorrow. Not a day goes by where I don't wanna throw this thing in a river lmao

iOS 18 jank is so, so much worse than Pixel jank at this point
